LiveChat.ca is operated by Conscious Commerce Corporation (“CCC”, “we”, “us”), an authorized partner of Text (formerly LiveChat Software S.A.), which provides the underlying software platform.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and enter into a binding agreement with CCC.
2. Scope of Services
LiveChat.ca provides access to customer communication tools powered by Text products, including but not limited to:
- Live chat software
- AI chatbot solutions
- Help desk and ticketing tools
- Integrations and related services
CCC may also provide:
- Implementation and onboarding support
- Consulting and optimization services
- Training and ongoing assistance
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
3. Relationship Between Parties
- CCC acts as a Canadian partner and service provider
- The core software is provided by Text
- Your use of the software is also subject to Text’s global terms, policies, and agreements
In the event of a conflict:
- CCC Terms apply to local services and support
- Text Terms apply to platform functionality and infrastructure
4. Account Registration
To use certain Services, you may be required to:
- Create an account
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5. Free Trial & Subscription
- A free trial period may be offered (typically 14 days)
- Continued use after the trial requires an active subscription
- Subscription terms, billing cycles, and features depend on the selected plan
All subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
6. Payments & Fees
- Fees are billed in accordance with your selected plan or agreement
- Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
- Additional services provided by CCC may be billed separately
Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of Services.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Transmit malicious code or spam
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.
8. Data & Privacy
Use of the Services may involve the collection and processing of personal data, including:
- Chat conversations
- Customer contact details
- Support interactions
You are responsible for:
- Obtaining consent from your users where required
- Complying with applicable privacy laws (including Canadian regulations)
Text and CCC implement security measures to protect data, but you acknowledge that no system is completely risk-free.

9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in:
- The platform
- Software
- Branding and content
remain the property of Text or CCC.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the software
- Reverse engineer or resell the Services without authorization
10. Availability & Support
We aim to provide reliable access to the Services but do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability
- Error-free operation
Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen issues may result in temporary interruptions.
Support may be provided via:
- Live chat
- Documentation and training resources
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- CCC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Liability is limited to the fees paid for Services in the preceding period

- Payment obligations are not met

Termination does not entitle you to a refund for unused time.
